RE: Realtek High Definition Audio Latest WHQL - erp-ster0 - 03-18-2021 new 9123 HDA FF06 x64 generic driver (also bundles Realtek USB audio driver v6.3.9600.213 and Waves Maxxaudio desktop [non-uwp] software) from Station drivers Code: The contents of this section are hidden 9123 HDA FF06 generic x64 driver is WHQL for 64bit Win10 only, unsigned for Win7/8.x (much like with 9116 HDA FF00) note: this is an FF06 version, not FF00 version because the Maxxaudio integration DLL files are included, along with the Waves Maxxaudio application software. latest WHQL'ed HDA versions for Win7/8.x are 9088 & 9107 (but 9107 is non-generic and 9088 is generic) and latest generic FF00 HDA version is 9116 (mentioned in my previous post) but 9116 HDA (like 9123 HDA) is WHQL for Win10 x64 only RE: Realtek High Definition Audio Latest WHQL - chillgates - 03-19-2021 9116 HDA FF00 from Asrock is nice. Better to stick with HDA FF00 than installing UAD or other FF versions. The old driver 6.0.9126 HDA FF00 from Asrock is sounding better than this newer version. I returned back to 9126. RE: Realtek High Definition Audio Latest WHQL - erp-ster0 - 04-16-2021 well chillgates, it's best 3 out of 4 for 9132 FF00, according to some folks (like Pete) in NS forums: Code: The contents of this section are hidden most folks there seem to like 9132 and provide better sound than with 9116 & 9126. found the 9132 FF00 driver listed for an ASRock SBC-240 industrial board (took me several days to find out which boards or PCs have that specific driver listed): Code: The contents of this section are hidden edit 5/6 - a "fixed" 9132 HDA FF00 version is available for Win7 & 8.x users (someone else posted this many days ago, btw) that has the "correct" CLSIDs/GUIDs for Win7/8.x and restores the missing Realtek sound effect options - not needed for Win8.1 & Win10 though; only for Win7 & 8.0 {download link removed; it was available for a limited time but the person who made this "fixed" version no longer has it anymore} edited 6/22 RE: Realtek High Definition Audio Latest WHQL - erp-ster0 - 05-19-2021 new generic 32bit/64bit HDA FF00 driver from ASRock [posted 5/19/2021] - 6.0.9151.1 Code: The contents of this section are hidden WHQL for both Win7 & Win10 also 9151 FF00 now has "correct" or fixed CLSIDs/GUIDs for Win7 (yup Realtek finally fixed some of the CLSID entries in the INF files with 9151), so Realtek sound enhancement options should be available to Win7 users once again |
