about a week late in mentioning this but
after almost 6 years since the R2.82 release, Realtek posted an R2.83 release on their web site between end of January 2024 & early February 2024

however, R2.83 contains the same driver version (6.0.1.8186) as the R2.82 release.
in other words, R2.83 is a "retreaded" R2.82 version which contain a few updated exe files for the Realtek HD Audio Manager UI app and refreshed/updated MS digital signatures in the driver files.
-R2.83 driver release does NOT support ALC245 [DEV_0245], ALC287 [DEV_0287] & ALC897 [DEV_0897] audio hardware
obtain the Realtek hd audio drivers direct from either the computer manufacturer or motherboard maker instead if using ALC245, ALC287 or ALC897
edit 6/14 - removed direct download links to the R2.83 driver packages as Realtek redesigned their web site and no longer allows direct links to their driver downloads; updated link to the web page for the R2.83 driver downloads from the Realtek site
