I like archlinux, it can quickly use the latest released packages

Alpine for creating docker containers ...

I used Ubuntu until they started using a weird Start menu, which was kinda styled like a mobile/tablet OS. Heard that Mint is basically Ubuntu with a more classic UI and switched to it. It's been pretty good for everything I've needed, mostly internet and office stuff.

I also use TrueNAS Core (BSD) for my file server, and OPNSense (Hardened BSD) for my router. There's no docker on TrueNAS Core, so I may switch to TrueNAS Scale (Debian) at some point in the future.

I use Mint on my notebook, and Gentoo on my home server.

For serious business, Debian, always.

I have been using Mint. Mint  was the best for me transitioning from a long stay with windows.

Not one definitive favorite, but some personally notable ones:

- Manjaro: First distro. Not bad, but not great either. Not recommended.
- MX Linux: Recommended. Beginner-friendly, has custom GUIs exclusive to it for some CLI configs.
- Mint: The ol' faithful, always reliable.
- Artix: My laptop's current daily drive. Quicker than installing Arch.
- Arch: Enough said.

Manjaro has a lot drivers preinstalled. It is good for beginners like me, though it is modified and not really compatible to AUR (you can use but boot failure may happen).
