I tried to apply key directly to already installed Avira Free. I mean, this new Avira Free 1.xxx version, not 15.xxx.


My mistake here.


Tried offline installation with key and everything went fine. Yes, before that, added data to hosts file.


But, Avira always go to Free mode after few minutes of installation.


Interestingly, when Avira try to refresh licence for the first time (after starting or restarting Windows), succesful check licence and then go to Free mode.


After that, after very first try to check licence, Avira cannot check licence anymore. Just like on picture.










So, somehow, I believe that my Windows 8.1, after start or restart, probably is not fast enough to apply rules from hosts file.


And cause of that, Avira go to Free mode.

Ouh...

I try now "license management" option and I think is OK now.
