If I'm using latest Brave, I can login only with email, but not with username.
If somebody have the same situation, don't panic, it's not the forum or site problem, it's a problem with Brave.

Maybe I'm wrong, but seems like latest stable is now version 1.10.93, based on Chromium 83.0.4103.106 (Official Build) (64-bit). At least I got it.

This information is not quite correct. Version v1.12.107 however is not Stable, but just one of many pre-releases or release candidates.
Sorry, but it used to be said that "Accuracy is the virtue of Kings."
Anyone hopes always get accurate information.
