I need a nice way to take screenshots easily. Snipping tool lacks features, so I switched to greenshot because its free. It seems to have some good features (boxes, blurs, etc). I've heard of some people using snagit, but im not sure if it has better features or anything else that might make it a better choice. Any recommendations?

I used to use snagit, but it's too elaborate. Now I am very satisfied with FastStone capture: Much nicer to use than snagit!

I used to use Greenshot, and liked it, but it's no longer actively developed. ShareX is free and open-source, and works very well, and has a ton more features than Greenshot, with a better GUI, and takes about the same RAM. I didn't like SnagIt, but it's still the best for scrolling screen capture on websites (ShareX glitches out, and cuts off the bottom of scrolling screenshots by the height of the scrollbar).

I use WinSnap portable...it's simple (like me!!) and easy to use. It has enough features/tools
and gets the job done.

I'm used to Win + PrntScrn but having seen this thread def made me consider having some features could be nice.
I mean I used HyperSnap 15 years ago or something haha. No builtin win shortcut then tho altho pasting in Paint or whatever has always been an option.
But not very convenient. Cheers for all the suggestions here.
