it seems that the Genp doesn't work anymore. I mean it succesfully pastches the files, but doesn't prevent the program from complaining that the license is invalid.
I endeded up using the patched files by whitedeath and blocking the hell out of adobe with the firewall and that seems to have fixed the problem.

You have No permissionsI downloaded the repacks made by m0nkrus and extracted the patchers for x86 and x64 Acrobat DC and used x86 patcher on Windows 7 (x64 Acrobat can't be installed on Windows 7) and x64 patcher on Windows 11 with Acrobat x64 installed.

On both occasions patching was done perfectly without needing to block anything extra in FW or hosts

two people I know called me complaining about this. I had installed Acrobat pro a while ago on their machines. like I said, it does not fail right away.
