You have No permissionswhen doing a clean install you need to install chipset drivers and graphics drivers before using hwidgen to get a digital license!

Understood. Thanks.

So I fresh install from the Windows 10 ISO and activate using my existing Windows Home key, then I upgrade my chipset/graphics drivers, then follow your instructions as above.

Yes?

You have No permissionsyou can install Pro when doing a clean install. Easiest way is to do this without internet connection. after successfully installing Pro install mentioned drivers and go online when done. Then it's time to use hwidgen

Well that would be easier, I guess.

So during install when it asks me for my product key I shouldn't provide the generic key at that point? Just skip the key, choose Pro, install, update drivers, go online, then follow your instructions above?

You're fantastic. One thing, I'll have to go online *before* I update drivers so they can be downloaded. That won't foul anything up, will it?

You have No permissionsmake sure to get the drivers directly form the vendors to avoid installation of wrong drivers. Don't use Windows Update to install drivers (MS is good at messing up!)

I was going to use DriverMax which seems to do a good job of finding drivers that Windows Update misses.
