Blessed are the meek, @ rasbridge.. with all due respect, you are a bit naive..
while I do not log into facebook, and do not use google for searches, those companies collect all that they can get their claws on. I have no illusions about what they have on me..
And while I post privacy concsious stuff on a forum, I get reactions as if I am some village idiot.
So now you found out about privacy. If you are using firefox, there is a nice plugin for it, called privacy badger, by electronic frontiers.
And of course kick out chrome, and use only duckduckgo.com for searches.
Not being cynical, just trying to be constructive.
