i will purchase a legit license of true image 2020 if somebody will patch libcrypto10.dll .
Procedure of patching libcrypto10.dll by Nova-s Brother :
to patch your own "libcrypto10.dll" get and install The contents of this section are hidden . open the .dll in ida (use defaults), wait a while until status line stops. select "Functions" tab. search and doubleclick "DSA_verify". select "Hex View-A" tab. the first selected byte is the first byte to replace. because i'm not very familiar with ida, i do the final step with any simple hex-editor: open .dll there, search for correct position and change this byte and the 5 next to B8 01 00 00 00 C3 (to ensure the correct position just compare with ida-window). lastly you can delete the now invalid certificate found at the very end of file. it is 6kb long, the beginning is easy to find since there are many zeros in front of it. close ida and then save patched .dll in hex-editor - done.
for version 19 build 5628 & 5634 a 17 byte patch is needed as described above, but the bytes to be changed to are: 83 FB 01 7F 06 B8 01 00 00 00 C3 B8 FF FF FF FF C3
Ash P / luigi42 found this new workaround, as a result acronis switched back to old method with next build...
step by step instructions how to replace .dll manually
1) Unzip with winrar(or equivalent) the activator and pick the needed dll version;
2) Disconnect the internet and install the ATI2015;
3) When the installation is finished start the program and put the serial provided in the readme included in the activator;
4) Rename the original crypto.dll and copy the patched one in this location: "\program files\common files\acronis\home or \program files (x86)\common files\acronis\home";
(if you want to overwrite it you need to terminate all the ATIH's running process in the background while, if you just rename the file, it's not needed)
5) add the line to the host file "127.0.0.1 activation.acronis.com"
6) Put the system date 31 days forward and then restart the acronis program
7) choose offline activation method and put what you want in the activation (ex: 123456)
8) put your system date back and reconnect internet
9) enjoy your ATI perfectly activated!
