Few years back i tested powerdvd on my AMD machine. It didn't work. Unable to play hevc movies. I deleted it from my system. I tested this version for my friend request and this time it worked. I observed that pot player is as good as powerdvd and it is only 15 mb setup while powerdvd is bloated crap. Tru-theater sound is putting noise in to the movie. Didn't like it. Powerdvd installs dozens of executable files which always try to connect home. Wonder why it need those many executables. Just crap.
