I'm not allowed to 'Upgrade' because the installation was booted from a media drive. To upgrade the installer advised me to remove it and try the upgrade while windows is on :c

You have No permissionsyeah That's what I was afraid of.
I'll have to test the procedure on another pc and will try to figure it out (it's been almost a year since I tested the procedures) but it may take a few days or a week because I have a real life also.
If you really need to get Pro now the advise I can give you is to backup all files you want to save and perform the upgrade offline.

You have No permissionsyou would have to get an older build if you only want Home + Pro combined ISO only; since last November all consumer versions are included in official ISO

The second button on that page (it says "Download tool now") will download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool. This tool will download the current version of Windows 10 from Microsoft and let you copy it to a USB drive or create an ISO.

Hwidgen successfully registered the latest Ms 10 business edition x64 updated May 2020. Installed enterprise version on Vmware, used hwidgen in KMS38 mode and finished registration.

I recently changed one of my Windows 10 Pro machines to Enterprise, and I was able to do the digital activation. No need to use the KMS solution for Enterprise.

I use Kms38 mode to avoid contacting home. It is safe. I informed this here because i saw somebody having problems using hwidgen.

You have No permissionsyes it's safe. Only thing to keep in mind is that if you have Windows activated with KMS38 you can't use KMSPico to activate MS Office; you have to use KMS_VL_ALL
