Hi - I don't want to come out as too much of a noob, but just to check - this is a means to activate an unactivated Windows 10 install? And, if so, could someone explain sort of... how to do this? I feel bad asking for so much help but I'm a bit lost

Also make sure you have chipset and graphics drivers installed, no tweaks have been applied to windows (if any tweaks have been applied undo all tweaks!) and windows update hasn't been disabled. Run hwidgen with admin rights and disable real-time protection before running the tool. Make sure you have active internet connection ![]()

One I modified the directory everything else executed successfully.

Hi there, love the tool, used it on multiple occasions, but today it failed to run.
I am in the process of activating a Windows 10 machine. But everytime I open hwidgen, it runs the system check for 2-3 seconds then closes. I downloaded the files from the link provided on page 1. My OS info: Version: Windows 10 1703 (it's old I know, updating it to 2004) Build: 15063.13 Chipset: i3-3220 4GB of RAM Is there anything I did wrong? |
