You have No permissions-which OS build number?
-did you run the tool with administrator privileges
-did you disable real-time protection (I assume you're using Defender)?

Is hwid not working anymore?

Got a question here.
Recently installed w10 home 1909. Used digital licence. So far all good all works. The problem is I kinda didn't read everything (at least all 71 pages). Had I done that i would have used kms38 or at least waited until i will have all the components.
So now I have an extra ssd incoming and naturally the question is, will installing it (w10 would remain on current nvme so just adding an extra disk) deactivate windows due to changed hwid.
I read a bit about this and most answer (thou rather old) do say that adding extra disk is ok and it should deactivate windows. I also found a list (not sure how trustworthy thou) that states that 7 out of 10 hwid numbers (no idea how to call them) should match and it will work without needed activation.
In my case this would only change two.
Another option I found was to create ms account and link it, thou that doesnt look very trustworthy.
So to sum up:
Will adding extra disk deactivate w10?
If so would it be possible to reactive it without setting ms account? If so what would be the steps for that?
If ms account will be the only solution, then what are your thoughts about that? How safe is having one? Don't expect black helicopters with swat team, but a bill in mail would be equally as unpleasant.
So any and all advises on this situation are welcome.

You have No permissionsif you would decide to use an ms account to log in with you will share more information on what you do with MS. No way you'll get billed for using a backdoor in the activation system. Windows is officially activated by the MS activation servers so that makes it legit. MS is well aware of the backdoor in their activation mechanism in Windows 10 but they don't care (they make money by numbers which is their main goal)

How would I downgrade from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Home?

My dad's going to buy me a legit copy of Windows 10 pro, so I'd like to switch back to Home to get a purchased copy of Pro. Being on a cracked version of Windows just doesn't feel right.
