Hi folks,
Do you know if HWID activation method works if my PC is already activated with MSToolKit or KMS? I have W10 Pro version 1803 and my activation period expired. Considering this, when running the HWID executable should i select the Rearm option or the HWID option? [ As shown here: The contents of this section are hidden  ]
Should I format my PC and upgrade to the latest Windows build and then activate it using HWID? What if I activate it now and then later decide to format and install latest w10 build, will the HWID activation then recognize my hardware and be able to work again?

You have No permissionsMSToolkit is also a KMS solution which means that you'll have to remove all traces of KMS before being able to activate Windows with a digital licence  (build 1803 is EOL you won't be able to activate with a digital license so you should upgrade by using an ISO  to install the latest build before running hwidgen).The best way to do this is by using the KMS Clean Tool from Ratiborus. After getting rid of all KMS traces reboot and activate by using hwidgen to obtain a digital license. When done reactivate Office with KMS solution or a legit license. No need to format and do a clean install of Windows because upgrading is still possible .

When performing a clean install make sure chipset and graphics drivers are installed (activation is hardware dependent!).After installing chipset and graphics drivers Windows reactivates automatically when connected to internet (only when consumer version is installed; when a business version is ireinstalled you need to enter the generic product key before Windows is reactivated

Im not 100% clear, what do you mean by I wont be able to activate with a digital license with my current 1803 build? im confused about your point about the digital licens . Is upgrading my OS mandatory to activate with HDWIGEN or not? In case my OS is EOL and not worth activating, how do I upgrade windows using an ISO? Pls clarify this

your OS build (1803) isn't supported anymore by MS because support ended last year (see here) which also means it's been removed for activation

Windows 10, version 1803 (Home, Pro, Pro Education, Pro for Workstations, IoT Core) EOL: November 12 2019

The only 1803 builds with longer support are Enterprise, Education, IoT Enterprise: EOL: May 11 2021

If your Windows is EOL you can't upgrade through Windows update anymore so you have to upgrade by using an install medium.
Visit this page  and download the ISO or choose option 1 (upgrade this pc)
