Usually viruses mutate to be less deadly but more transmissible. If this really is going to be an ongoing thing every year then hopefully the mutations become more benign. The problem is we won't know what long term effects this will have on everyone.

It's pretty sad to see that some people aren't that careful with all the things going around right now. Many don't even wear masks which is the most thing to do.

Working on public transport, I see so many people not wearing masks, or not wearing them correctly. I also see a whole carraige with two people in, where the 2nd person sits a seat away, so much available space everywhere else. It angers me.

Same here. You can do nothing about it. I personally use mask all the time when i am outside. You do that too.

Well said.  I spent extra time making sure my darn mask actually comfortably sealed to my face and actually work as intended.  Got a strap that goes around the back of my head instead of my ears that keeps it more snug.  Also put on a flat metal wire over the nose area to get that part to seal.

I don't have a strap like thing but i use 3 layer breathable cloth masks.

It has been pretty intense over here, we are very involved and we keep doing plenty tests... the vaccine is taking forever to get around but I hope this will be over by the end of the year.

Brazil: we have no tests*, no vaccines** and no governance. Yesterday: 2.300+ deaths... This sh*it will be endemic!
