I understand this mentality but what is the other option? Just disconnect? Be left behind? That's what I did initially during the Youtube acquisition by Google, Google+ (failing eventually), Linkedin, IG, snapchat, etc.. But I did get left behind so I adopted Youtube tracking, FB, and Linkedin. I'm in the process of removing FB permanently for reasons unstated, but I will not be off the grid so to speak.

I think there is no hope for Facebook, its not worth staying there and watching the cancerous shitshow.

is it safe just to deactivate account and just leave messenger active? or its still the same.

they can still see everything you do regardless of whether you use google/facebook search or not. they can still identify and deduct through machine learning and location data its you with your cookies, lol

Facebook is perhaps the most evil digital thing built by human beings. I don't have an account (deleted it years ago), but I see how even many who consider it to be damaging but still cannot get rid of it. I find this really disturbing.
