gonna try this 6.0.9225.1 HDA FF00 x64 driver version EVGA released for their Z690 Classified motherboard near the end of January 2022 on a few of my Win10 systems (this one like with 9235 is WHQL for 64bit Win10/Win11 only) {no driver downloads currently posted for EVGA's other z690 board - the Z690 dark kingpin}

hi chillgates.  i did read your review of the newly released 9239 FF00 driver from ASRock [ah finally a 92xx HDA driver from ASRock] in the other forum & 9239 sounds as good as the 9205 version.  9239 is definitely better than the 9225 & 9235 versions.

gonna install this 9239 driver on most of my desktop & laptop PCs this weekend (except the custom built PC with the Gigabyte board w/ Realtek ALC892 which uses UAD/DCH drivers and on my bro's HP Spectre x360 2020 laptop w/ Realtek ALC285 which also uses UAD/DCH drivers)

based on the 9175 FF00 x64 generic driver released to MS on 4/16/2022 (yeah, realtek was almost a year late in submitting this version to MS) - very good sound quality as 9205 & 9239

all my other computers using HDA FFxx drivers will use either 9239 FF00 or 9273 FF04.

didn't expect Gigabyte to also have the older generic 6.0.9205.1 HDA FF00 driver, which they got in early 2022 but I was only aware of it about several days ago (listed only for Gigabyte's GA-H81M-S2PH rev. 2.2 motherboard; not listed for older "revisions" [like 1.0, 2.0 & 2.1] of the GA-H81M-S2PH board)

also wasn't expecting another generic HDA FFxx driver to be posted on MS Update earlier this July 2022 - v6.0.9239.1 FF01 generic X64 (FF01 = FMAPO integration)

unlike the 9273 HDA x64 driver which is for Win10 x64 only (and possibly blocked on Win8.x and unsigned for Win7), 9239 FF01 HDA x64 installs & works on x64 Win7/8.x & x64 Win10

this is an x64 FF06 variant of 6.0.9239.1 HDA, a little over 2 years after 6.0.9239.1 FF00 was made.  and it is WHQL for x64 Win7 to Win10/11.

released for certain old 6th gen Intel (Sky Lake) & 7th gen Intel (Kaby Lake) based Fujitsu Lifebook notebook PCs & resolves a security vulnerability where the rtkvhd64.sys driver file would access an invalid memory range & cause a system crash as mentioned in the bundled readme_en.txt & readme_jp.txt files (and also supersedes/replaces the previous 6.0.9123.1 & 6.0.9066.1 FF06 HDA driver versions from Fujitsu)
