Almost everybody in IT world is excited with new wave of AI announced capabilities and potential, but it seems that nobody is giving a s**t for the human dignity of the labors in poor countries hired to train them. ChatGPT case (
https://time.com/6247678/openai-chatgpt-kenya-workers/) reminds me iPhone Foxconn. Soon people forgot. After all, it's an iPhone.

The recent lay-off of the AI ethics and society team (
Microsoft lays off team that taught employees how to make AI tools responsibly) suggests the trend that being the leader in providing an answer to tech consumers wishes is all that matter.
