Back Doors
Microsoft Windows has a universal back door through which any change whatsoever can be imposed on the users.
This was reported in 2007 for XP and Vista, and it seems that Microsoft used the same method to push the Windows 10 downgrade to computers running Windows 7 and 8.
In Windows 10, the universal back door is no longer hidden; all “upgrades” will be forcibly and immediately imposed.
Microsoft has backdoored its disk encryption.

What is your favorite Linux OS and why do you prefer it?
|
Mine is Linux Mint. I like it mostly for its ease-of-use, convenience, user-friendliness and elegance. It's also one of the most well-designed, graphically-speaking and interface-wise. Cinnamon and MATE are fantastic!
It's also a great beginner-friendly/entry level Linux OS.

Side-notes: I got my start on Ubuntu though. Hardy Heron, I believe. Unfortunately, I am not a very big fan of Ubuntu anymore.

Barack Obama walks into a bar, but he is invisible.
|
After attracting the bartender’s attention, the bartender says "Ok, I'll bite. Why are you invisible?"
Barack says "Well, I found a bottle on the beach and...then I rubbed it." "And then...importantly...A genie came out." "The genie said I could have...3 wishes."
For my first wish, I said "Let me say this, and this is profoundly important...I want Michelle to marry me...I love her,...and I think America will love her too." That wish was granted.
For my second wish, I said "Like all patr

Leaked document indicates Apple is cracking down on leaks
|
Apple has long been known for its secrecy when it comes to unreleased products. Despite its efforts, leaks still get out regularly, particularly from its supply chain. Apple is reportedly looking to change that by updating the security guidelines for its manufacturing partners. Ironically, the news comes from an internal document leaked to The Information.
Under the updated guidelines, manufacturing facilities must conduct criminal background checks on assembly line workers that have access to

My Newspaper is different
|
A customer walked into my clothing shop and asked to see the pants that were advertised in the paper that day.
“ We don’t have an ad in the paper today,” I told her.
She insisted I was wrong, so I got a copy of the paper, and we went through it, eventually landing on an ad for pants from another local store.
Exasperated, the customer glared at me and said, “ In my newspaper, the ad was for this store!”
